Clyde too strong for Annan
Clyde moved up to fifth in League Two following a 2-1 win away to Annan Athletic.
Ryan Frances gave Clyde the lead after 25 minutes, meeting Kieran MacDonald's free-kick at the back post, heading past Kenny Arthur from six yards out.
Annan grabbed an equaliser five minutes before half-time, Peter Weatherson heading home Andrew Mitchell's cross from the middle of the penalty area.
Clyde restored their advantage three minutes after the restart when Weatherson fouled Michael Daly in the box. John Sweeney stepped up and fired the spot-kick home into the top-right corner of the net.
The away side looked the more likely to extend their lead, with Arthur called upon to make a number of good saves in the second half to keep the deficit a just the single goal.
