More away joy for Shire
East Stirling continued to enjoy their travels as they handed Annan a 2-1 defeat.
The Shire have now avoided defeat in their last four games on the road.
In a goalless first half it was the visitors who came closest to breaking the deadlock, but Paul Quinn's long-range effort was pushed away by Alex Mitchell.
The Shire took the lead four minutes after the break. Andrew Stirling found Jamie Glasgow, who fired past Mitchell from the right side of the area for his third goal of the season.
And the lead was soon doubled. Stirling was again the provider and Jordan Holt drove a low shot into the bottom corner from just inside the box.
The Black and Golds pulled one back with 11 minutes left as Daniel Orsi steered Michael Daly's ball into the net from close range.
But Annan were unable to find a late leveller as they extended their winless run to four matches.
