Annan battle back to overcome Stirling
Annan came from behind to win 3-2 against Stirling on the opening day of the Ladbrokes League Two season.
Sean Dickson finished Eddie Ferns' cross at the second attempt to put the visitors ahead in the 12th minute but the lead was short lived as Ross Forsyth diverted a cross from the right into this own net six minutes later.
After Stirling's Blair Henderson rattled the crossbar, the hosts turned the game on its head when David McKenna turned a defender to strike a low shot beyond teenage goalkeeper Cameron Binnie before Aidan Smith headed home Max Wright's corner to double the advantage just before the break
Albion midfielder Marc McKenzie put his side back in contention just before the hour mark when his close-range effort deflected in off a defender but the hosts held on for victory.
